Quinoa hummus

19 oz. can garbanzos, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup cooked quinoa
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup lemon juice (1-2 lemons)
2 Tbsp. tahini
1 tsp. garlic, minced or crushed
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. salt, or to taste
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper, or to taste
1 tsp. fresh parsley, minced (optional)

Combine all ingredients except parsley in a food processor or blender; purée until smooth. Place in a bowl and garnish with parsley if desired. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
